I finally found the perfect cosmetic/toiletry bag! I also compare it to the Large Cosmetic and Large Blush & Brush styles.
At the beginning of the video I briefly show a pattern I did not pay attention to when it was released. Recently and quite randomly, I connected this pattern to my late brother who was a US Marine and served two tours in Afghanistan. I’m not overly patriotic (or into patterns that have strong themes) but I do appreciate and consistently give praise to Nicholas and other members of the armed forces. Long of the short: I now really like Fireworks Paisley. I potentially see a bag in my future in this pattern…

I love the Jen ID’s too. I also find the cotton on the some signature brands stiff. So I always throw it in the wash before it use it! Softens it up! Love the Grand Cosmetic bag.

I’m doing good. Your videos and Alisa’s videos are a good and bad influence on me. Lol I have been searching eBay for Vera Bradley items. I like this grand cosmetic and I had watched another video on it awhile ago but forgot about it and of course I really want one now. I have two bags On the way from eBay right now one is a small tic tac tote in Daisy Daisy and the other is a Saddle Up in Make Me Blush. I can’t wait to see what else you get. Oh good to know about the large cosmetic in Sweethearts and Flowers. I have that bag so will be careful with any liquids. Currently using for makeup storage. Love Plum Crazy. I will look for Grand Cosmetic. I have something similar in a blue camo pattern. The pockets are net like and the handle is webbed. Interior is black. Can’t recall the name. Maybe not quite as big. The handles are great. I have a similar outlet style but yours looks awesome.

I found the names of the ones I have. Lighten Up Travel Organizer in Camofloral (retired I think) and the Factory Style Travel Organizer (Sunburst Floral & Splash Floral). It’s kind of a lighten up material too. Both are similar but might not be quite as big as Grand Cosmetic. What I like about all three is they are more flexible than the cosmetics with the firmer plastic in the signature cosmetics. Great guy found something you love!

It’s not the bags fault…it’s ultimately mine. But I didn’t realize the white stitching was exposed. Oh well. I am loving Plum Crazy, too! This bag is amazing.

I absolutely love the Grand Cosmetic. I own two of them. So much great organization. I like that you can fold back the zipper flaps, exposing the inside corded edge, and set it on your bathroom counter. It will hold it’s shape and allow you easy access to everything inside. It’s my favorite cosmetic bag ever.

Thanks for the vid – yes love it and your cosmetic bags. Very timely as I’m looking to buy one. I wanted a Grand Cosmetic when they first came out and missed the boat as they say, but I must try again. Love your Jen Zip in Fireworks Paisley. I bought the pattern in a Large Duffel, but couldn’t get anything else in it. I love it! and I love the Red White and Blue, that’s Australia’s flag colours too, so it works for us too. Are you going to get on to Vera Bradley about the staining on the seam of your Sweetheart Large Cosmetic? I think you should, if only for their info. Thanks again for sharing your new things 😍🦄

I thought about it…that stitching should be underneath the plastic, but I guess that’s what holds the plastic lining down. I’m really happy with the Grand Cosmetic though 🙂

Love your Jen Zip in Fireworks Paisley! I loved that collection so much! It’s possible Vera Bradley might have another version of the pattern this summer. Maybe an outlet pattern? It seems like I saw something about that a while ago. I completely agree with you that the grand cosmetic is the best! Being able to put larger toiletries standing up and pockets for organization and that awesome carrying handle 😍! I don’t own any larger cosmetic bags but that would be my choice. I don’t travel very often and I just use ziplock bags and toss them when I get home. Maybe I’ll get one some day. Wonder if you wash your Sweathearts and Flowers large cosmetic if it would come clean? Sorry that happened 😢. The grand cosmetic is definitely the best!

Yes I think you’re right! I can’t think of the name of that outlet print. I used to do the same thing with my cosmetics/toiletries pre-Vera Bradley. You should definitely give the Grand Cosmetic a try. I think washing it would definitely fix it up. It just kind of shocked me when I saw that in the video 😂 take care 🙂

Lovely treasures, Kelly I like large handbags and have few small ones. I have 3 Mandy bags and so much fits in these. Quite pretty. Two are vintage Vera. That cosmetic bag, the Large one. Great. I own two of them and very pleased. I use these like yours for other purpose, not for cosmetics. I wonder if a lunch bag would be perfect for a travel cosmetic bag, one of the Vera lunch bags. I own one vintage Grand Cosmetic bag, a lot fits there! Love the handles. I have cosmetics there. Great bag. That brush case I have in another pattern. Great videos.

I really like the Grand Cosmetic bag. It holds all my travel toiletries AND makeup. I put a velcro loop on the handle in case I want to hang it. This comes in handy when there is very little counter space. As mentioned by someone else. I fold back the zipper flaps for better access.
